Have you ever wondered about Chinese characters and Chinese names?
In this short video taken in the grounds of the Great Mosque in the Muslim Quarter of Xian we (Nikki and Nicola in the blue) talk to our wonderful private tour guide about her name and the Chinese characters that make it up.

Muslim St in the Muslim Quarter, Xian, China is the most fascinating, lively and fun street to wander along. Filled with all kinds of interesting foods, people and sights, it is travelling at its best. Nicola and I (Nikki) absolutely loved it here when we visited China in July 2017 - everywhere we looked we wanted to photograph and video.
Here we (Nikki & Nicola) are in Shanghai at the Oriental Pearl TV Tower getting ready to go up ~ which has fantastic views by the way :)

In our third video of supermarket shopping in China, it's all about the veggies! There was a wonderful selection of greens and herbs as well as some odd looking vegetables.

Nicola and I (Nikki) had so much fun in the local supermarket in Beijing. We loved all the fresh fruit and produce as well as the interesting array of what was on offer. In this first video, we cover colourful fruit and cookies.
The Terracotta Warriors in Xian China are an incredible sight. Hundreds of life sized warriors (no one warrior is the same) made from terracotta that were buried with an Emperor to protect him in the afterlife. We (Nikki and Nicola) loved our visit here in July 2017 and found it very fascinating. We made this short video where our gorgeous tour guide Xing Ding Yin explains the formation of the army.
